Center of Excellence (CoE) – It is the name given to the production facilities with research and development function in B. Braun Group.
They are the places where the up-to-date information for development is centralized, needless to say, on top of the knowledge and know-how accumulated during the long history of the Group.
B. Braun started its business back in 1839 in Melsungen, Germany, as a small pharmacy called “Rosen Apotheke”.
The Group has now grown to have 43,000 employees in more than 50 countries worldwide, and is providing its products to 150 countries.
Achieving the total sales of EUR 4,422.8 million (approx. JPY 571 billion) in 2010, B. Braun Group continues to grow as an all-round supplier in the global healthcare market.
